Toasting the Finest celebrates the achievements of
leaders in the hospitality industry and of the students participating
in the ProStart Invitational.
The industry awards will honor the Jerry Burtenshaw Lifetime
Achievement Award, 2008 Quick Service Operator of the Year, 2008 Full
Service Operator of the Year and 2008 Allied Member of the Year.

Vendors from around the state donated items to support the longevity of the ProStart program.
ProStart is a nationally accredited career-building program for high
school students interested in culinary arts and foodservice management.
In more than 50 public schools in Washington state, ProStart students
experience classroom study, mentored work experiences, as well as local
and national competitions.
